Report targets Switzerland for financial secrecy
Switzerland ranks as the third-most secretive tax haven in the world, according to a report released by a British NGO which is calling for greater international transparency to stop illicit flows of capital from poor countries to the wealthy. The report, obtained by Swisster, puts the Swiss behind Luxembourg and the US state of Delaware – not a place known for banking but rather for incorporating large corporations without requiring much in the way of financial disclosure.
