Escaped lynx Aisha faces winter in the wild
The female lynx known as Aisha that escaped from an animal sanctuary in canton Jura nearly three months ago is alive and well, photographed by a young woman in the Vallée de Joux. Zoologists have been trying to track the feline since the breakout, hoping to capture and return it to Juraparc. However the lynx may have to remain in the wild for some time as security measures on its original enclosure are improved.
